So are Fruits Good or Bad for You?

So are Fruits Good or Bad for You?

This recommendation has created much controversy among many who regularly eat fruit and I think this recommendation does not apply to them.

It is important to remember that fructose alone isn't evil as fruits are certainly beneficial. But when you consume high levels of fructose it will absolutely devastate your biochemistry and physiology. Remember the AVERAGE fructose dose is 70 grams per day which exceeds the recommend limit by 300 percent.

Many of those who consume large quantities of fruit have no symptoms, and those with high blood pressure may have no symptoms. However the lack of symptoms does not guarantee that you are not exposing to danger.
Please remember that more than three-quarters of the population has insulin resistance.

How do you know if you have insulin resistance? If you have any of the following conditions is a safe bet that it is:

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Overweight
  • High Cholesterol
  • Cancer

So please, carefully add up your fruits based on the table below to keep the total fructose from fruit below 15 grams per day.

How does sugar feed cancer?

How does sugar feed cancer?

Controlling your blood glucose and insulin levels through diet, home workout and relieve emotional stress may be one of the most crucial components of a cancer recovery program. These factors are also crucial to prevent cancer in the first place.

It may surprise you, but the theory that cancer feeds on sugar was born almost 80 years. Even more surprising, the more conventional cancer programs have yet to respond adequately to diet and the need to avoid sugars.

Malignant tumors tend to use a process where glucose is used as fuel by cancer cells, creating lactic acid as a byproduct. [I] The large amount of lactic acid produced by fermentation of glucose from cancer cells are transported to the liver. This conversion of glucose to lactic acid produces less acid pH in cancerous tissues as well as overall physical fatigue from lactic acid buildup.

This is a very inefficient way for energy metabolism, which extracts only 5 percent of the energy available in the food supply. In simplistic terms, cancer is "wasting" energy, which leads him to be tired and malnourished, and as the cycle continues, will result in the loss of the body for cancer of the experience of many patients.

Furthermore, the carbohydrates glucose and sucrose significantly reduced the ability of neutrophils to do their job. Neutrophils are a type of white blood cells that help the cells that surround and destroy invaders such as cancer.

In short, all forms of sugar are detrimental to overall health and promote cancer, but in slightly different ways and in different degrees. Fructose, however, clearly seems to be one of the most damaging overall.

The Art Of Weight Loss

Discipline YourSELF!

Let’s talk a little more about the fascinating art of weight loss. If you look around, most of the world around you is pretty shallow, right? Everybody is trying to figure out, what is the quickest way for me to lose weight in the shortest amount of time, like it’s some kind of game. You have Jillian Michaels boasting her athletic prowess on one website. Then there are the Kardashian sisters talking about toning their glutes and legs on this channel as you surf for something to watch. There are so many different weight loss ads, it can make your head spin. So what do you do in a world that is hell bent on making you look like the Kardashians and Michaels and you-fill-in-the-blanks of the world? Discipline yourself!
First of all, in your trek to total body success and results, you must realize these three things:
1. If it took you two years to gain those 30 pounds, what makes you think that any diet outside of liposuction, lap band, and gastric bypass is going to make you lose that weight in a week? You won’t believe some of the extreme things that I have heard when approached with helping people lose weight, particularly those who have a, ahem, deadline to meet (wedding bells, anyone???) The scenario goes a little something like this….”So how much weight are you looking to lose or what size would you like to see yourself in?” “Weeeeelll, I would like to lose ummmm, 15…..30….60 pounds!” “And by when? (this question is for pure amusement, because no one leaves this question unanswered)” “Ummmm, by the end of the month!” Blank stare…

2. Your genetic pool is definitely not the same as anybody else’s! You are one unique entity, so do not gauge your rate of weight loss (or gain for those who seek to gain muscle/weight) with the next person’s. Doing this will only set you up for failure psychologically, and once that begins, your drive to lose weight will either decline, or it will cause you to do some extreme and usually unhealthy or unsafe things to reach that goal.

3. Use common sense. Okay, I will say this one more time. USE COMMON SENSE. If said person decides to clean up their lifestyle and become healthy, however, they decide, “Hey, I think I will have a couple of cheat days”. Then don’t be mad if you did not reach your goal. If you are serious about doing something, then nothing, not even a greasy burger, a mozzarella stick, nor a gallon of sweet tea will stand in your way. Continuing along the lines of common sense, those celebrities that you are fawning over have, guess what? TRAINERS, CHEFS/MEAL PREPARERS, and SURGEONS (helloooo? Duh?), which the average Joe does not. I mean, if we all had a team of these special people, we would all be actors and actresses, now wouldn’t we?

But since we don’t and we do not obviously live in a fair or perfect world, you have to work with what you have. Back to the discipline thing. Reaching any goal in life requires what? Discipline. In order for you to get what you want, including the perfect body for yourself (not for someone else or to please anyone else), then you must buckle down and discipline your mind and body to achieve these results. Realize that changing your lifestyle and habits that you have accustomed yourself to over a period of time will take some getting used to, and it is no overnight thing, so don’t expect overnight results or you will be disappointed. Some of the things that you can do to ensure that you stay on the right track towards becoming healthy and in shape are as follows:

a. Don’t trust yourself to push yourself hard enough to get the results you need. Grab a buddy and make them push you! Workout in doubles or more. And you pay it forward and push them as well.

b. Clean your pantry and refrigerator out! If you are serious and sick and tired of looking or feeling the way you do, because you are not happy with your body image, then take the steps and change it! And this is one of the ways to do so. Throw away the junk!

c. Hold yourself accountable for your actions. Keep a food journal! Many successful people keep some kind of diary, journal, agenda, to-do list available so they can jot things down. A food journal is just like this. I can promise you that if you are aware of what you are eating everyday (because we typically don’t remember this), you can look back and see where you need to make changes at in your food intake. It also helps you keep track of your caloric intake.

d. EAT! You have to eat to lose weight, believe it or not. Follow the old mantra, eat every couple of hours (like, every 3-4) to keep your metabolism up and running so your blood sugar levels don’t fluctuate and cause you to grab the nearest Snicker bar…

e. Keep in mind that you are who you are! Nobody can change that no matter what, so work at your own pace. Whether it takes you 2 years or 20 years to get where you need to be, that is your business and nobody else’s.

With that being said, feel free to comment on what steps you took to make a change in your life, whether it be weight loss or anything else.

Time Is Such An Issue When It Comes To Going To The Gym!

I think a lot of personal trainers at gyms think that the whole "it takes so much time out of my day coming here" line is plain BS. But, let's be honest here, going to a gym DOES take a lot of time out of your day. And for a lot of us, it's not just about wasting time - it's about something else. We will talk about that in a minute. Going to a physical gym means you have to find the right clothes to wear (and the shoes!), plus it means having to get in your car and drive to the gym. Then, you have to find a space to park. And then on top of that, most of us have to workout for 30 min plus to feel like we actually did anything worthwhile.

But, going to the physical spa or gym is not only about feeling like we are wasting time, sometimes we just use that excuse. Sometimes it's about self consciousness. Let's be honest here, if you are overweight or even a little out of shape, it's really hard going to a gym and working out in front of other people. You feel like they are staring, even though they probably aren't! It can really get you down and all that time you took getting to the gym is cut short - either on the treadmill or in the parking lot. Instead, you could take an easier route. A no-nonsense, quick and easy, don't-be-afraid-what-people-see-or-think route. You could try out home workouts. Since you can do these at home workouts.... AT HOME! You wont be wasting your day going to the gym and doing all that driving. Also, if you really are self conscious about your weight, doing home fitness online is going to fix all of that because its your house - you are the only one there and if someone else is there, tell them to go home! A home workout online gives you the chance to get to the goal you want to get to and you don't have to worry about any of that extra stuff like people looking at you or the time you are wasting driving out there. Also, at a gym you usually have two options; go solo or get a very expensive personal trainer. But, with a home workout, you actually get a home trainer for a very low cost.

The home
trainer will teach you about different exercise techniques, give you a menu plan on what you can and cannot eat, and the home fitness trainer will inspire you to be better and do better. And without all those thoughts of wasting money at the gym for a personal trainer - you can actually focus on what your home fitness trainers are trying to teach you. You can reach your goals quicker with a fitness trainer online and you can start feeling better with home workouts and your own personal virtual fitness trainer online!

Why Does The Term "Diets" Have Such A Negative Affect On People?

Over the years I think a lot of you have done "diets", that were either unhealthy, unsafe or they were your usual "fad" or "trend" diets. Some of these diets are the weirdest things I have ever heard of. And some of these other diets and plans are just plain torture. I think the biggest reason a lot of people look negatively at the word diets is because they think these diets are going to be bat crazy or they are going to taste awful. But, I have news for you - just because our fitness trainer online talks about diets or just because our home fitness trainers ask you what your diet is like in the present, does not mean we are going to tell you to go on an all water diet or that you have to eat your least favorite food all day (for me, its brussel sprouts!).

When joining a home workouts program like 7 Day Fitness, our home fitness trainers are not going to ask you to do anything crazy. They simply want to get your correct intake in and your outtake out. They want you to start cutting down on calories or possibly building your proteins throughout the day. Joining a home workout program is less like a Boot Camp and more of a guide. In fact, you can think of your home trainer like a guide. Someone that not only helps you with your home workout online or teaches you things to eat that are healthier for you, but a fitness trainer online will also inspire you to do better and push you gently to lose the weight you want to lose via the home workout
